Electric performance brand Ultraviolette has made its most affordable bike even cheaper. They quietly rolled out a brand-new base model for the Ultraviolette X47 Crossover at an attractive price of Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
How did they cut down the price tag? The company simply removed the high-tech radar and ADAS safety system.
The top variants carry the famous Hypersense radar package. That setup gives you features like blind-spot alerts, lane-change warnings, and overtake notifications.
While those tools sound fancy, many daily riders prefer to trust their own eyes and mirrors on Indian city roads. By skipping the radar unit, you save an instant Rs 15,000 compared to the Original model.

The best part is that no speed or power was lost in the process. You still get everything that makes this electric machine a total rocket on wheels:
- 211 km riding range on a single full charge.
- 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.8 seconds for quick city overtakes.
- 145 km/h top speed to keep highway cruising smooth.
- 3 riding modes called Glide, Combat, and Ballistic.
- Top-tier safety gear including traction control, dual-channel ABS, park assist, and hill-hold.
You also get standard Bluetooth and Wi-Fi pairing right on your dashboard screen. If you ever want more control down the road, you can easily pay extra to unlock 10-step regen braking and dashcam recording.
Would you trade high-tech safety sensors to save cash and get pure electric speed?
