London – In a touching display of generational connection, Daniel Radcliffe, the actor synonymous with Harry Potter, has penned a letter to Dominic McLaughlin, the 11-year-old set to portray the iconic wizard in HBO’s upcoming series adaptation. The series, a 10-year-long project based on JK Rowling’s seven beloved books, is generating immense excitement among fans worldwide.<\/p>\n
Radcliffe, now 36, expressed his emotional response to seeing a new cast take on the roles he, Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) made famous. He revealed on Good Morning America that while he doesn’t feel it’s necessary for every Harry Potter actor to reach out to him, he was compelled to connect with McLaughlin, especially knowing people involved in the production.<\/p>\n
“I don\u2019t want to be a specter in the life of these children but I just wanted to write to him to say, \u2018I hope you have the best time, and an even better time than I did \u2014 I had a great time, but I hope you have an even better time,\u2019\u201d Radcliffe shared.
